"Imagine life as a galactic bounty hunter as you build and display a LEGO® Star Wars™ Ultimate Collector Series version of The Razor Crest (75331) starship. Measuring over 28 in. (72 cm) long, it is packed with authentic details that reference memorable Star Wars: The Mandalorian moments. The top of the starship and its huge engines lift off for easy viewing of the detailed interior, and the cockpit is removable for access to the sleeping quarters. It has side hatches and a cargo compartment with a weapons cabinet, a minifigure-size carbon-freezing chamber and more, plus a detachable escape pod.
5 Star Wars characters
The set also includes a display stand for the new-for-October-2022 The Mandalorian, The Mythrol and Kuiil LEGO Star Wars minifigures, a Grogu LEGO figure in a pram, and a new-for-October-2022 buildable Blurrg LEGO figure."
As much as I love all things Razor Crest...this is one item that I might have to pass on. The price (600 dollars) is too much for me, but falls within the usual price per piece of 10 cents (10.3 cents to be accurate). The set has 6,187 pieces, and comes with 5 mini figs.
I was able to buy three knock off sets for less than what this set is going for. They were the UCS Slave 1 (2,058 pieces), Mould King Razor Crest (5,018 pieces) and the PapaGlop Razor Crest (4,453 pieces).
My biggest issue with this UCS set is that the landing gear doesn't retract, and the interior seems small, compared to say...the PapaGlop version. It does have over 1,000 more pieces than my largest KO Razor Crest, but I'm just not seeing the size difference for those extra 1,000 blocks.

I like the Razor Crest in general, but don't love it. That's fortunate, because this set is way out of my price range. Looks like a great display piece, though.

I will end up getting this Crest but it does not WOW me like the UCS Falcon even though its price and piece count creep toward the same neighborhood.

I have no interest in this (or Luke's speeder) so at least my wallet can rest for a while. Hopefully something wows next year.

There's a review on YouTube for this set, and after watching it...I can easily pass on this. Too many small problems that could have been fixed for a 600 dollar set. With the problems being included, the set should have dropped in price to 500...but that doesn't happen in the world we live in called greed. Oh well, maybe the knock off set will correct the issues and still be cheaper. Lol

The use of stickers is annoying on a set of this cost. The colour matching on them is really poor.

I recently completed the build of my UCS Razor Crest. Provided below is a summary of my pros and cons of 75331.
Pros:
Minifigure scale.
Three minifigures can be seated on the flight deck comfortably.
Opening door on the flight deck that leads to the ladder going to the main hold.
Several details from The Mandalorian are included: carbon freeze, carbon frozen bounties, weapons locker.
Solidly designed and is swooshable for its size.
Two side passenger entrances.
One rear cargo entrance.
Modular build allowing efficient access into the flight deck and main hold.
Cons:
- Stickers
The stickers with the yellow markings and gray coloring do not match the Lego gray pieces. Due to this, I did not apply the marking stickers. Brick built markings or printed pieces would have been a better option.
The carbon frozen bounties should have been molded pieces instead of stickers.
The twin laser cannons do not rotate. 180° rotation would have been appreciated. Full 360° rotation is not possible due to the geometry of the as-designed and as-built fuselage.
The landing gears not retracting was an initial con for me. If they did retract, the interior would be significantly smaller, or the Razor Crest would have to be larger for the landing gears to fit and to maintain the interior as-designed. It would also be difficult to deploy and retract the landing gears or remove the landing gears while in flight mode due to the size of the Razor Crest. All this considered, I personally have moved on from this being a con.
I would have been satisfied with Din Djarin and Grogo as the only minifigures included, so the inclusion of the Mythrol and Kuiil is a bonus to me. The brick built blurgg is well done.
I feel that $600.00 is ballpark reasonable for what is provided. I did sell some older used Lego sets to make the cost more palatable. Overall, the build was enjoyable, the Razor Crest is incredibly detailed, and I am pleased that it is part of my Lego collection.
